I only just saw your question.....

In winter time, we get the great North Swells rolling in across the Atlantic; occasionally, they can be 3-5m - monster swells. 

However, most of the time from late October onwards, on average we get from head height to 2 x overhead through to April.

The first time I rode a sup was down there on a kite trip with shit wind, we did get fun chest to head high wave the whole trip. surfed so much my tits where bleeding. the locals down in encuantro told me to use the sup, it was great had a blast right off the bat! Came back got a custom one made and never looked back i love my sup. thanks DR
