What technique do you guys prefer to use when it comes to getting into the line-up?

paddle around the break? over? over on the knees? laying down paddle under chest? Combo?
Thanks

On my knees, unless it's really small.

Shortest route, right over the water water, standing up.

Indeed , only way to go.

Technique depends on the type of break though.

Anything is allowed , just make sure you get there.

One of the advantages of SUP is that it is so damned easy to paddle - you can cover large distances that on a short board would be a KILLA.  If you have to paddle around a break, go for it; you'll be there super fast anyway.

That's so true.

I am really trying to practice the shortest route whilst standing up.
I tried to do it sitting down on my knees, but whenever the smallest bit of white water breaks over the board......my...ehmm.... private parts get the full wash which is actually pretty painful.
